Cookie Notice

Effective:
25 June 2026
Version:
1.0 (draft)

This Cookie Notice describes how regulation10.ae uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Notice and is written to meet our obligations under the DIFC Data Protection Law No. 5 of 2020 (as amended by Law No. 1 of 2025), the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the ePrivacy regime in jurisdictions that have transposed Directive 2002/58/EC. The short version: we run a cookieless analytics tool and set only the essential cookies needed for the Site to work.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Related technologies — local storage, session storage, pixels, and tags — behave similarly. We refer to all of these as "cookies" in this notice.

2. Our analytics are cookieless

We use Plausible Analytics to understand which pages are useful. Plausible is privacy-first and does not use cookies, does not store any personal data, and does not track you across sites or devices. It counts page views using aggregated, anonymised data and a daily-rotating hash that cannot be used to identify or re-identify you. Because Plausible sets no cookies and processes no personal data on its own, no analytics consent banner is required for it under the ePrivacy regime or the DPL. See our sub-processors page for where Plausible runs.

3. Why we use cookies at all

Because analytics is cookieless, we use cookies only to make the Site work and keep it secure — for example, routing, load-balancing, and protecting the contact form against cross-site request forgery. We do not use cookies for behavioural advertising on this marketing Site.

4. Categories of cookies we set

Strictly necessaryRouting, security, load-balancing, and CSRF protection on the contact form. These are essential for the Site to function.Legitimate interests (DPL Art. 10(1)(f) / GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). No consent required because the cookies are essential and the ePrivacy strictly-necessary exemption applies.Session and up to 12 months

5. Cookies we set today

Strictly-necessary only: a session / CSRF cookie for form security. No analytics or marketing cookies (Plausible is cookieless). — a full named inventory will be published here. As things stand, this Site sets only the strictly-necessary cookies described above; it sets no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Managing your choices

  • No banner needed for analytics: because Plausible is cookieless and sets no non-essential cookies, you are not asked to consent to analytics. If we later introduce non-essential cookies, we will surface a clear yes/no choice first.
  • Browser controls: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. See aboutcookies.org for instructions. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break form submission.
  • Do Not Track: we honour DNT signals where required by law in your jurisdiction of access.

7. Third-party cookies

We do not embed third-party advertising or social-tracking pixels on this Site. Our analytics provider (Plausible) sets no cookies. Where our hosting CDN sets a strictly- necessary cookie for routing or security, that provider acts as a Processor under the DPL / GDPR and is bound by a written data-processing agreement — see our sub-processors page.

8. Your rights

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time using the methods in section 6. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. For all other data-protection rights, see our Privacy Notice or submit a data request.

9. Updates

When we add or remove cookies we update this notice. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
